The Pixel Art Effect app lets you turn your photo into video game pixel art. The effect ranges from modern pixel art which has a more subtle pixelated effect (many small pixels) to retro pixel art which is made up of fewer larger pixels.Step 1:To convert your image, simply tap the "Add a Photo" button and choose a file that is in .jpg, .png or .gif format.Step 2 (optional):The pixel art maker has an optional outline type that can be set. This is the outline style used to draw the picture. If youre looking to achieve a more cartoonish look, the dark option is recommended. There is also a slider to define the size of pixels. You can also choose between color or black and white.Step 3:Tap the "Apply Effect" button.After your picture has been pixelated, you can save it and if youd like, you can share it to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, VK or any other social network, forum or site and set the picture as a profile picture, cover photo etc.Tools included:This app also includes tools to crop, rotate and mirror images.Potential fix for some memory issues.

Sweet app for making fun photos!
No palette or crosshatching options, pretty rough results overall. I guess it pixelates it, but don't expect like cool old computer art or something.

It came out great for me my only complain is that theres a a lot of ads but if you can get by that then it app is really good for pixel
